Super Healthy Green Tea, Goji Berries and Fruit Tisane Recipe

One of my favourite things to drink each day is green tea, but lately I’ve been obsessing over this particular tea, which I will show you how to make.

The Ingredients

Green tea is super rich in antioxidants. I drink decaf green tea because caffeine doesn’t do well with my sleep.

Goji berries is a superfood with a huge amount of nutrients used as herbal medicine to treat all kinds of diseases and boost overall wellbeing for thousands of years. It has a very herbal, yet subtle tinge of sweetness.

Fruit tisane is brilliant for adding extra flavour of sweetness in the tea, I buy mine from T2.

Experiences with this Tea

I started drinking this tea because I wanted to include loads of different things and I couldn’t be bothered making 3 cups of tea each day with different ingredients, plus green tea on its own always tasted too bitter, so I thought I’d add a little something to spice it up. I just find that adding some fruits and goji berries really made it so much nicer, and I loved chewing up the fruits afterwards.

Lately, I’ve been adding a little red raspberry leaf into my tea for pregnancy purposes. Sometimes, I love to add a splash of vanilla extract, with a drizzle of maple syrup to make it really sweet, then freeze it for a while so it becomes ice tea.
